Everett Dobson

Everett Dobson is well known in Oklahoma as a businessman who was instrumental in turning a small family owned company into one of the largest rural cellular telephone providers in the United States.  Dobson Communications grew to become the ninth largest provider of wireless service in the U.S. and was the largest independent rural wireless provider in the country.  Mr. Dobson was voted to the CTIA (Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association) Board of Directors in 1996 and remained active in the association as a member and director until 2007.  In 2007, Dobson Communications was acquired by AT&T for $2.8 billion.  Mr. Dobson is currently pursuing investment opportunities as the managing partner of the Dobson Partnership and is an owner of the Oklahoma City Thunder, NBA basketball team.   Mr. Dobson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. 

 

Fred Hall

Fred Hall is a partner in Hall Capital Partners and chairman of the investment committee.  Mr. Hall is also a principal shareholder, director and Chairman of the Board of the Fred Jones Companies.  Since 1983, while CEO of Fred Jones, Mr. Hall led growth strategies for the business and successful exit strategies. Since 2002, Mr. Hall has served as Chairman of the Board of Managers of the general partner for the Catalyst/Hall Funds. Mr. Hall serves on the Board of Directors of numerous public, privately held, charitable, and governmental organizations. Mr. Hall holds a B.A. from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California.

 

David Holsted

David Holsted is a partner in Hall Capital Partners and a member of the investment committee.  Since 1993, Mr. Holsted has served as Senior Vice President and CFO of Fred Jones and its operating entities, where he leads acquisition strategies.  Since 2002, Mr. Holsted has been a key executive in developing and executing investment transactions and managing portfolio companies for the Catalyst/Hall funds.  Prior to Fred Jones, Mr. Holsted served as a Senior Audit Manager in a national accounting firm.  Mr. Holsted serves on the Board of Directors of several organizations.  Mr. Holsted holds a B.S. from Oklahoma State University, and is a CPA. 

 

John Kobza

John Kobza is a partner in Hall Capital Partners and a member of the investment committee. Since 2002, Mr. Kobza has been active in developing and executing investment transactions and managing portfolio companies for the Catalyst/Hall Funds.  Prior to 2002, Mr. Kobza was a Managing Director at Vine Street Partners where he was responsible for the origination and execution of merger and acquisition and capital raising assignments for a broad array of middle market companies.  Mr. Kobza holds a B.S. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University. 

 

Bill Koziel

Bill serves as President and Chief Executive Officer for SAC Wireless responsible for the strategic planning, development and execution of corporate initiatives.  Prior to being appointed CEO, he served as President of SAC Wireless where he led the company’s transformation from a site acquisition firm to a diversified wireless services organization focusing on wireless carrier, enterprise and government infrastructure initiatives.  From 2003 to 2006, Bill was responsible for strategy and market development of CH2M HILL’s North American Wireless Organization.  Bill served as VP of Operations for Site Acquisition Consultants (now SAC Wireless) between 1997 and 2003 where he was responsible for P&L, operations, market and customer development.  Over the past 15 years Bill has been involved in all facets of wireless network deployment delivering site acquisition, construction, site integration and maintenance services throughout the US. Bill holds a BS in Education and Social Policy from Northwestern University.

 

Joe Sanzo

Joe was appointed Chief Operating Officer in August of 2008 and is responsible for SAC Wireless' delivery capabilities for all service lines throughout the US.  Previously, as SAC Wireless' Vice President of Operations, Joe led the operations organization to diversify its service offerings and the expansion of SAC Wireless into the western United States.  A 19 year veteran of wireless, Joe has held executive positions at CH2M HILL and Lucent Technologies (currently Alcatel Lucent), leading global wireless service organizations.  Joe has designed and implemented cellular networks on 4 continents. Prior to wireless, Joe worked in the Space Sciences division of NASA at Goddard Space Flight Center. Joe has a BS in Computer Science from Radford University in Virginia.
